Freelance translator from English into Italian.

My experience in translation from English into Italian.

I have been translating from English into Italian for 20 years, both as a freelance translator and within marketing and advertising agencies.

I have been translating mainly for:

  • Italian divisions of international corporations,
  • translation agencies located all over the world,
  • marketing and advertising agencies
  • and small and medium sized companies.

Field of expertise:

I am specialized in marketing and advertising translations related to mass market consumer goods and brands.

I translate the following marketing documents:

  • corporate web sites,
  • corporate and product brochures,
  • advertising campaigns,
  • press releases and articles,
  • presentations,
  • newsletter and direct marketing campaigns,
  • labels and magazines,
  • speeches for press conferences and international fairs,
  • branded content,
  • corporate blog posts.

I am willing to translate even other kind of documents.

Why choosing me.

Full professional proficiency of both British and American English.

I started to get familiar with English very early, through one of the first classes for primary schools’ kids. I learned English Grammar for five years at High School and I got more and more fluent in conversation, thanks to many full immersion classes I attended during the Summer in the U.K.

At the University of Bologna, I improved my writing skills, by attending an English Content Writing graduate class.

I got the TOEFL certification – Test of English as a Foreign Language – with a high graduate score and later on I won a one year scholarship at the University of Denver (U.S.A.).

Studying for one year in an American University made my understanding, speaking and writing skills step forward towards an even more advanced level.

Experience as a Copywriter and Translator from English into Italian.

Twenty years of Italian copywriting allowed me to develop professional skills in writing advertising content for Italian consumers and business.

Knowing the specific language used by copywriters  – plus being Italian mother tongue – turns out to be a key advantage in translating marketing and advertising documents.

To know how to write for Italian consumers and business allows me to deliver translations which sound good to Italian readers: quite as good as they were written directly in Italian, without getting through the translation process.

Besides the excellent knowledge of English and American language and twenty years of experience in translation, my extensive experience as a Copywriter is another good reason to order me a translation from English into Italian.

Two more reasons to choose me:

  • Accuracy of the translation, including a final revise service before delivery
  • and timely delivery of the translation.
